If you’d like to help out a bit here, we always appreciate helping feed the horses and a bale of hay goes a long way around here! We buy 2nd cut timothy hay that is tested for good nutrition values and normal sugars for the best health of our herd. This is hauled up from Washington, which is just a bit south of us on the other side of the border. Each ton costs us $485 and there about 17 bales per ton plus hauling to get it here.
